Quality is an important consideration when you are purchasing a digital camera. Our customers can be assured that Fujifilm stands solidly behind the quality of its cameras by offering a competitive warranty on all of our digital camera products. Our staff of photographic experts is available to assist you with your technical questions concerning Fujifilm digital camera products.

STANDARD WARRANTY

FUJIFILM Canada Inc. ("FUJIFILM") warrants the product (except for the batteries and except as provided below) against defects in workmanship and material for a period of twenty-four (24) months or twelve (12) months from the date of original purchase. If the product is damaged by mishandling or accident or is repaired or modified by anyone other than an authorized FUJIFILM service representative, it will not be covered by this warranty.

FUJIFILM's sole obligation is to repair or replace, at its option, a defective product covered by this warranty at no charge. Replacement parts and products may be new, or used and either reconditioned or inspected and determined by FUJIFILM Canada Inc. as meeting its’ quality standards. This warranty is in lieu of all other representations, warranties or conditions of any kind, whether arising by law or otherwise. In no event will FUJIFILM be liable for any damages or loss arising from the loss of use or non performance of the product.

This warranty is for the benefit of the original purchaser only and is non transferable. The purchaser will be required to submit evidence of date of purchase and to pay all costs of transporting or shipping the product to FUJIFILM for service.

This warranty applies only to FUJIFILM brand products imported to Canada by FUJIFILM Canada Inc. and sold by FUJIFILM Canada Inc. to its’ authorized dealers. This warranty does not apply to FUJIFILM brand products imported and sold in Canada by unauthorized dealers, distributors, or other sellers.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE POLICY

Estimates and Procedure

Equipment on which an estimate has been provided (out of warranty) will be returned to the sender unrepaired, if approval to proceed has not been received by FUJIFILM Canada Inc. after a period of 90 days following the date of estimate.

Service Warranty

All repaired equipment is warranted for a period of 6 months following the date of repair. This warranty applies to the specific repair performed as recorded on the original service order. Replacement parts and products may be new, or used and either reconditioned or inspected and determined by FUJIFILM Canada Inc. as meeting its quality standards.

It is advised that all repaired equipment should be tested before any special event.

We will not, however, be liable for any loss of film, images or any other consequential losses or damages incurred while using this equipment. This guarantee is in lieu of all other guarantees or a warranty expressed or implied, and is valid exclusively in the country where the equipment was repaired. This guarantee is non-transferable and is void if the equipment is misused, tampered with or serviced by any other than the importer or its service agent.

X Series Professional Camera Warranty Conditions

If your X series professional camera is under warranty, FUJIFILM will repair or replace the product at no charge. If your product is not covered under warranty, you will receive an estimate for the repair order. There is a handling fee for estimate refusals ($45 CAD plus applicable taxes). FUJIFILM Canada Inc. may, at its discretion, refuse to honour the warranty of any product which was not imported to Canada by FUJIFILM Canada Inc. and sold by FUJIFILM Canada Inc. to its authorized resellers.
